Experience

  • Co-founder of OCD Management Consulting JSC in 2003. This was the first Vietnamese management consulting company to operate under a professional consulting model and international consulting standards, entirely managed by Vietnamese professionals.
  • Co-founder of OOC Technology Solutions Company, the owner of the first Human Resource Management software in Vietnam with features for competency assessment and performance management based on KPI-OKR frameworks.
  • Vice President of the Human Resources Association (HRA) during the 2012–2022 term (hravn.net). Executive Board Member of the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM), a regional member of the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA), from 2014–2022 (www.apfhrm.com). Advisor to the HRA Executive Board from 2023 to present. Nominee by HRA for the “HR Leader Award” to APFHRM in 2015.
  • Certified Master Trainer by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in training methodology and instructional design, as well as a certified trainer by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in human resource management.
  • Co-chair of the Vietnam chapter of WomenCorporateDirectors (WCD), the international network of female business leaders.
  • Co-founder of Small Giants Community Vietnam, a network connecting small businesses with outstanding workplace cultures, part of a global movement originating in the United States (https://smallgiants.org).
  • Successfully led over 500 restructuring and human resource management system development projects between 2007–2022, including more than 150 restructuring projects for medium and large enterprises, among which 25 were listed in the VNR500 and included foreign-invested enterprises.
  • Lead designer and trainer of over 30 comprehensive management development programs (MiniMBA, Total HRM, DX management) for private & state-owned corporate leaders and managers
  • Led multiple digital transformation projects in defense industry manufacturing companies (from 2022 to present).
  • Co-author of OOC’s digiiCAT® behavioral competency assessment software, successfully used since 2014 by 75 enterprises to assess over 30,000 employees.
  • Author of numerous methodologies and tools for developing human resource management systems, which have been successfully applied in corporate restructuring projects. These include: Functional Matrix in organizational structure design, CIOD Method for Competency Framework Development, TotalFit personality assessment tool, and headcount planning methodology.
  • Author of Chapter 13, Human Resource Information Systems, in the human resource management textbook published in 2022 by the Faculty of Management Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This chapter marked the first time the topic appeared in a Vietnamese HR management textbook.

  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Management Information Systems from the University of New South Wales, 2002. AusAID Scholarship.
