OCD is key local partner to the Fair Labor Association (FLA) in the USAid-funded project “Promoting Sustainable CSR in Vietnam” that provide technical assistance and guidance to improve working conditions and social compliance programs at 50 apparel and footwear factories in Vietnam. Using FLA’s unique tool “Worker’s Perception of Sustainable Code of Compliance – SCOPE”, in 2012 alone, OCD consultants conducted SCOPE assessments of 14 garment factories in Hanoi,Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Binh Duong, Long An and Dong Nai provinces for FLA Vietnam and FLA Shanghai offices. Collabroration activities with FLA continue into 2013.
